We see the sun and see its effulgence (brahman), we strain to see the sun amidst the effulgence and see the disk (Parmatma) and if we see more clearly we see that there is a Sun-God too (Bhagavan)
It is upto us whether we want to see the radiance, the disk or the SunGod.Bhagyashreehttp://www.bbsearchingself.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-396360614029039354.post-22263360393094927832014-01-24T18:33:52.662+05:302014-01-24T18:33:52.662+05:30Even my husband doesn't believe in going to te...Even my husband doesn't believe in going to temples to 'see' god. He just stands in front of the gods' photos and pray whole heartedly, closing his eyes. He doesn't get disturbed even when his mobile rings continuously! When asked, he says that he didn't see any image in his mind but the feeling was good!

Nice compilation of the same meaning from all scripts!Sandhyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06478831923010850316noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-396360614029039354.post-66971764481391459942014-01-24T07:45:16.021+05:302014-01-24T07:45:16.021+05:30It is many ways to reach same goal of godliness wi...It is many ways to reach same goal of godliness within. Two quotes to share " as many opinions, those many paths" but it is ultimately the same. Thus said Ramakrishna Paramhansa. Another from Swami Vivkananda " development of one's divinity is. religion". agahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17749176131216414651noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-396360614029039354.post-34800557531522588802014-01-22T20:41:17.312+05:302014-01-22T20:41:17.312+05:30I also totally agree with L Kruppa. I don't have to go anywhere to see him or feel him.
However, each to their own, if going to temple and seeing him there, is the route for some to reach God so be it, for, finally our goal is the same. To me, God is within me - the way the hand holds and leads my way, feel ethereal when I pray/meditate for there is this feeling of his forceL KRUPAAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05444862052732342641noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-396360614029039354.post-51272782457339065062014-01-20T13:09:38.480+05:302014-01-20T13:09:38.480+05:30One has to be minus all sins to see God within one...One has to be minus all sins to see God within oneself, else there is no option but seek solace in temples and likes.
Love the collection you presented here.Indranihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13097788106899971708noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-396360614029039354.post-11918614326358887012014-01-20T09:48:43.131+05:302014-01-20T09:48:43.131+05:30But sometimes we need validation of our thoughts.....But sometimes we need validation of our thoughts..need to see him in real..in temple:)Renuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18052079745061422542noreply@blogger.com
